DescriptionOn the sheet are 4 stamps, each showing Marie Curie at work. All drawings are made after photographs. The upper right stamp shows the symbol for polonium, the bottom left stamp shows a piece of raw uranium.
The stamp on the sheetlet shows the École Normale Supérieure in Paris, an insitute where Marie Curie worked for several years. The margin shows Marie Curie in her laboratory. De drawing is made after a photograph, but mirrored. The green balls in front of her symbolise a uranium atom.
This issue doesn't have postal value and has been printed especially for collectors.
